Most Power Flow yoga classes seem to always be in a hurry! You do hundreds of poses and breathe fast to get the body sweating. It can be a lot of fun, kind of like aerobicise classes in the 80’s, but it can also cause a lot of damage if your practice is not precise. Repetitive movement that is misaligned can cause long-term damage to your joints and limit your ability to move freely! Power Slow Yoga is a bit different! In this daily practice we take things a bit more carefully to create a safe and powerful practice that will keep you in shape and on your mat without injuries. Don’t be fooled by the name – its a very challenging approach to your practice. You can take it as deep and strong as you’d like and you’ll definitely work up a sweat! The Power SLOW approach will develop strength and focus while you exercise. Discover what it feels like to be strong, calm and focused. Its the best part of yoga!
